Wedding Wednesday- Reception Tables

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a lovely week. Wedding season is in full swing and I'm so excited for our first wedding of the year this weekend!

Since I haven't shared anything wedding related lately, I wanted to share a few of our wedding details! This is my vision for our reception tables:
The space has a mixture of wood and metal rectangle tables and a few round tables so I'm going to have 2 different looks. For the rectangle tables I'm doing a linen runner and for the round tables I'm doing the pretty pom tablecloths above to soften everything up. Since the venue is a bit more urban I'm doing zinc table numbers I scored on sale at BHLDN and the ridged zinc vases for flowers (which will be similar to those above). I have champagne sequin tablecloths for accent tables like our cake table, sweetheart table and escort card table.
Everything is coming together and I am getting soooo excited!!!

A Kentucky Derby Birthday

Wow! I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post. I'm not sure where the time went, but I've been pretty busy over here wedding planning, having lots of parties and getting adjusted to my new junior league position! More on all of that to come soon :)
This past weekend was of course the Kentucky Derby but also my friend Megan's birthday! We decided to celebrate by going to a Derby party in town.
My hat that I DIY'ed from my office bridal shower:

I wish I got a good picture of all the other fun hats at the party, but it was just so crazy! Especially since everyone was cheering for California Chrome the horse that won!
How did you celebrate the Derby??!
