What I Wore Wednesday

 Spring is in the air!

I've gotten so good at remixing my closet since my Lent shopping ban started! Love the navy, pink and green going on in this outfit.

J.Crew Cardi (monogrammed) // J.Crew Oxford // Lilly Skirt (similar-ish) // Kate Spade Bag // Tory Flats // Kate Spade Bangle

Linking up with Life with Elizabeth, A Sweet Georgia Peach and the Pleated Poppy today!!

Hope you all have a lovely day! XO

iPad Covers

Over the weekend CWF surprised me with an iPad!

Of course I had to get a glittery monogrammed background right away..
He got me the pink apple case which is fantastic, but I can see that it's going to get dirty quick.

Last year I was at the Rack and I spotted this Rebecca Minkoff case which is TDF but hard to justify when I didn't even have an iPad yet...

But now, I'm on a mission to find one! Here's a few other options I'm considering:

What case do you have for your ipad??

Pink Blazer

As you know, I love anything pink so when I first saw a hot pink blazer on Pinterest I knew I had to have one to recreate the look!

My version:

J.Crew Pink Blazer (mine is the Factory version) // J.Crew glitter flats (similar)

The perfect outfit for running errands or a casual day at the office!

I'm linking up with Katie and Steph for the SPD Linkup!

Happy Spring!

Happy 1st day of Spring everyone!

How are you celebrating?? I planted a few spring flowers in my patio! And tonight, I plan to switch out my closet from winter coats to more Lilly!

I hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day Weekend! I was in the mood to pair my green with lots of pink and I ended up getting lucky- I found a $10 bill on the ground!!

Somerset Dress (similar) // Tory Burch Sandals // Murfee Scarf (similar)

Lilly Pulitzer Dress (old)

I'm linking up with Sami!

Spring Transition

Happy Wednesday!!

This week the weather has been in the high 70's in Northern California which has me itching to start wearing my spring wardrobe.  But since it's not officially Spring until next week, I've been pairing my pastels with Navy to avoid any unwanted stares. I've also been wearing my neutral (gold and silver too!) flats instead of open toe wedges or sandals. In a few weeks I'll break out the white cardis and gold sandals, but until then Navy it is!!

How are you transitioning to your spring wardrobe?

Estée Lauder and Lilly Pulitzer

Estée Lauder and Lilly Pulitzer teamed up to bring us all Limited Edition gift with purchases. I don't know about you, but I love a good GWP, especially a Lilly GWP! Each department store has their own Lilly print makeup bag with filled with different goodies, so there are a bunch to choose from (and to collect!).

Check out ChicProfile for more details on the products included and minimum purchase requirements.

Which print is your favorite? I have a Jubilee dress in the luscious print, so I might have to get that one from the Estée Lauder website!!

How I'm Recycling My Closet {Lent Link Up}

Ever since Lent started I've had to wear clothes from my wardrobe instead of buying anything new- such a challenge for me!

I'm linking up with Glitter and Gingham, Southern Shopaholic, and Summer Wind. Make sure to check out their posts too!

It's been the hardest when I have an event or something fun to attend. Dressing for work is really a no-brainier for me. I have found however, that throughout this process I've really found myself wearing classic looks. You all know the basics: cardigans, tweed, pencil skirts, oxfords, and pearls. It's just that lately I haven't been trying to make those outfits trendy or different (think: j.crew with the crazy pattern mixing), I've just been extremely happy wearing things normally.

Scarf: Burberry // Chambray: Old Navy // Pants: J.Crew

Pants: J.Crew, old color// Tweed Jacket: J.Crew Factory

Shell: J.Crew Factory // Oxford: Old Navy

Tweed: Brooks Brothers // Top: Elizabeth McKay

Pin Dot Pants: J.Crew Factory, old (similar) // Peplum Top: J.Crew

Paisley top: J.Crew Factory, old // Necklace: Marcia Moran // Purse: Kate Spade, old

I think as a fashion blogger (ish) there's pressure to wear a crazy awesome outfit all the time, and I think that's great! but I just think it's a lot of pressure to be keeping up with the latest everything. It's nice to wear some regular stuff every now and then too!

Pop of Pink and Green

I am pretty much loving all of Kate Spade's new arrivals. I am especially loving their new pink and green jewelry! A perfect match to all of my Lilly!! Or at the office it would be perfect with a crisp white button down!

Necklace // Earrings // Bangles (1, 2

How are you wearing your pink and green this season?

Fashion Show

This past weekend I attended a fashion show for Sacramento Fashion Week in which the Junior League was the beneficiary. I attended with some of my JL friends and it was a blast!

I ended up wearing my black and white bow dress from Elizabeth McKay because it was just too cold for the spring Sheridan French dress I had previously planned on wearing.

Bow Dress: Elizabeth McKay // Bow Shoes: Valentino // Necklaces: J.Crew

At the VIP pre-party. Creepy much?!

We had box seats which included a swag bag full of goodies!

And at the after-party! (In case you are wondering, Ashley is wearing this Old Navy dress- she looked fab!)

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend too!
