Hope You All Have A ...

I dressed up as Audrey Hepburn today for work, I thought it was classy while still being work appropriate!

Dress: Lilly // Pumps: Louboutin // Sunnies: Chanel

And since I haven't shown you my fall front door, here it is:

Hope you ladies have a fun and safe Halloween!

Let's Chat: Boot Dilemma

Happy Friday Ladies! TGIF!!!

I'm in the market for a new pair of boots, but I can't seem to find the perfect pair. I purchased the infamous Tory Burch Nordstrom Anniversary sale boots, but they are just too tight in the calf and I don't want to risk fainting from lack of circulation (I wish I was kidding). So the hunt continues.. The Tory Burch 'Amanda' boot is a great price right now, but I'm worried about the same issue.

Here are a few of the ones I'm considering:

Which boots do you have and love? I would love to know!

{Guest Post} A Pop of Style: Fox Trot

Hi all! My name is Jenn from A Pop of Style, and I am so delighted that Andrea has given me some of her space to blog for the day over here on Tickled Pink.

One of the trends I have seen popping up all around the blogosphere and stores is animals on sweaters, crewnecks, and accessories this fall, and foxes in particular. Tory Burch has taken the idea and gone to town with it. It’s a great look if you think about it, because foxes are a burnt orange color, one of fall’s best tones (on anyone!). My favorites are below, but I’m sure these are not the only fox items out there!

Thanks for reading, stop on by my blog, and follow if you like!

A Fashion Show

Recently a few of my friends and I attended a fashion show for a new clothing boutique opened by one of our sorority sisters in Sacramento!

Heading over to the show.. Isn't my little the cutest?!
On me // Dress: Shopdandy  // Shoes: Jcrew // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff.
On Sarah // Dress: Jcrew // Sweater: Jcrew // Shoes: Ivanaka Trump (similar)

The four of us all had on the prettiest statement necklaces!
 Jcrew //  Nordstrom //  Forever 21 //  Jcrew

And of course we had to have some bubbly to start the night off right!

If you are local make sure to check out Identity Boutique in Midtown Sacramento!

{DIY} Golf Club Spruce-Up

This is a quick little DIY that really goes a long way in helping your golf clubs look fresh again, and since we will be putting our clubs away for the winter soon it's the perfect time to do it! CWF was bothered that the paint fill had worn off on some of his clubs. After a bunch of online research we found the best way to fill the paint was with nail polish

Just fill in the letters/numbers with the polish color you wish (it can be super cheap, for the black I bought $1 stuff, since I would never actually use black!) and then wipe off the overflow with a paper towel or cotton ball.

and yes.. these are camo wedges- CWF loves his camo!

Of course with these we stuck with the original colors, but the options are really endless! I plan to eventually change my putter paint fill to pink, once I get a matching pink leather grip :)

Election Fever

I currently have election fever! The debates have been so good and I just can't wait to see the outcome on November 6th (in my favor of course!). I've already voted so I've done my part.. but I hope you all do too!!

Shirt: Elizabeth McKay // Belt: Lilly Pulitzer // Skirt: J.Crew // Flats: Tory Burch

Last election year I went to a political "party" to watch the results roll in.. It was so much fun! Everyone there is obviously like minded (which sometime can be hard to find here in CA) and it was fun talking to local candidates about the issues. I def recommend! And that's where I will be on election night ;)

I've also been loving all the cute "party pride" clothes.. Now I only wish I jumped on the Cassie Dress in the Tusk in Sun print sooner!

Color Blocked

This color-blocked outfit happened completely by chance. Basically its really hard to dress for an Indian Summer. Do you wear clothes to be cool in? Or do you wear sweaters and then end up hot? So I paired the warm-weather skirt with a cool-weather top and voila!

Top: J.Crew // Skirt: J.Crew // Bracelet: J.Crew // Belt: Lilly // Flats: Tory

Love this fuchsia bag!

Hope you all have a Happy Tuesday!

Finally Fall

Happy Friday Ladies!!

It's finally starting to feel a bit chilly in these parts! Here's a bit of what I've been wearing this week, insta'd:

J.Crew Sweater

Target top! A fabulous find by A Preppy State of Mind!

J.Crew Cashmere Sweater (similar)

Quilted Torys!

And since I work in Public Health, flu season is upon us... so don't forget to get your flu shot!!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!!

Fleet Weekend

This past weekend I was invited on a {tug} boat to watch the Blue Angels and America's Cup in San Francisco Bay from the water! It was the perfect day! Thanks JJ for the invite!
Before we took off!

Downtown San Francisco
Ferry Building and Coit Tower (currently under the Bay Bridge) and an America's Cup boat (warming up)

Prada (Italy) boat warming up near the Golden Gate Bridge

Race time! The boats turned near Alcatraz

Love those Blue Angels!

Upside down!

So close to each other and the water!

Have you ever watched the Blue Angels??

Monday Blues

Happy Monday lovelies! I had an amazing weekend, I hope you all did as well! To say I am exhausted today would be a complete understatement! Oh well, I guess it's just a sign of a life well lived :)

This is my "It's Monday and I'm too tired to pick out an outfit so throw on some basics and a fun murfee" outfit!

Skirt: J.Crew (from this post) // Sweater: J.Crew // Scarf: Lilly Pulitzer (similar) // Watch: Michele // Bracelet: Kate Spade

I went to the Cal vs. UCLA game on Saturday, which of course was a blast!

Yesterday I was invited on a boat in the SF Bay to watch the Blue Angels and America's Cup! I literally took 1,000 pictures so I'll be sharing those soon :) but here's a little preview for those not following me on instagram:

And because I love you all, I found this iPhone app that where you can make simple monogram backgrounds. It's called '3intials' or you can just search monograms.

What to Wear: Ranch Style

I had to be super selective in what I packed for our Wyoming trip since CWF and I were sharing a carry-on!  Talk about pressure to pack enough, still be cute, oh and fit some stuff in there for CWF ;) Also, even though we went to a ranch doesn't mean I wanted to look shabby!
So, I got creative and made sure I had pieces that could be mixed and matched to create new looks for each day while still being classic. I think I did a pretty good job!
Classic jewelry
These items would really be perfect for any fall getaway!

Fall in Wyoming

In my opinion, the best way to get over the 'post vacation blues' is to go on another vacation!!
We jetted off for a long weekend at CWF's friend's father's ranch right outside of Jackson Hole, WY and let me tell you it was amazing! I've been to the area several other times but nothing compared to this trip.  The leaves were changing colors and their property was absolutly stunning!
His father is a real estate deveopler and built all of it to be a luxury sporting ranch. So there is a private golf course, ATV's, fishing, horses, kayaking, shooting, and sooo much more!

We stayed in the "Buck Off Saloon" complete with fully stocked bar, theatre, pool table and more animal heads then you've seen in one place!

The view from the moutain we ATV'ed to the top of! (10,000 feet!)

 Soaking it all in!

Have you ever been to Wyoming? Hope you all had a lovely weekend too!!
