House Dreams

I've mentioned that we are in the process of buying a house and more specifically, we are looking for a 1930's tudor.
I can't wait to restore it! I've been dreaming of hardwood floors, arched doorways, leaded glass windows, built-ins, vintage tile, clawfoot tubs and glass doorknobs! Swoon. I'm hoping CWF and I can do a lot of the work ourselves. Of course we need to find the house first, but here is what has been inspiring me lately:

Étagère // Lighting // Chair // Roman shades (these could be an easy DIY!) // Bird Wallpaper

What is on your 'dream house' wishlist???!

Baseball Cap

I've been wearing a baseball cap lately at the golf course- I makes me feel so sporty chic! I finally found one I love and it doesn't feel too forced; I can't say I'm a huge sports fan so it never felt right to wear a team logo. Anyway this one has the perfect 'worn-in' look and because it has our club's logo I feel comfortable wearing it around.

Do you have an 'old favorite' baseball cap?

DIY Magnolia Wreath

Over the weekend I DIY'ed a Magnolia leaf wreath from the trimmings of the tree outside our condo. I had spotted a similar wreath at Crate & Barrel a few weeks ago and thought I could do it myself with items I already had! Here is the final result:

It's nice to bring a little greenery into the house now that all the Christmas decorations are put away. Here is a tutorial for this super-easy project!

Monogrammed Sweater

One of my favorite Cyber Monday purchases was this merino monogrammed sweater. I can't stop wearing it! It was perfect for a quick weekend trip because it has a waist tie that can also be removed- giving it two looks in one!

Hope you are having a great week!!

Hyundai Tournament of Champions

I don't think I ever mentioned here that we were in Maui last New Years and attended the Hyundai Tournament of Champions (today is the final round of this year's golf tournament!). I was hoping to go this year again (since we received tickets) but with all the house-buying commotion we didn't think it was the best timing. Hopefully next year!

I had so much fun! It was great because not that many people attend so you are able to get up close to the golfers. I loved wearing my Lilly shorts too! They made it extra easy for my Grandpa to spot me on TV ;)

And obviously the views are spectacular! If you get the chance to go to the tournament or just play golf at the Plantation course, I def recommend, as it's one of our favorite things to do on the island.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

We celebrated the end of 2014 by toasting with these beautiful Tiffany & Co champagne flutes that we toasted with at our wedding! (One of our favorite wedding gifts from my bridesmaid Sarah!)

My biggest resolution this year is to add more money to our savings account each month. Which I know will come in handy because we are buying a home! It's already been such a long process that I really can't wait to be toasting with our flutes in our new house.

What are your resolutions or what are you looking forward to in 2015?
