Weekend Recap

Well this weekend has been extremely busy and I'm completely exhausted! But it was also a fab weekend so I'm OK with it. Saturday I had some JL obligations in the morning and I met up with my cousin for dinner with her finance. She recently got engaged and moved to Silicon Valley so it was good to see her and new bling!

On Sunday the bf and I met up with my financial planner for a round of golf out at Yocha De He gc. It's kinda random that its at an Indian Casino- but the course is absolutely gorgeous!

In shopping related news, I recently purchased some new Hunters (during their gilt sale).. and now I can't wait for the rain to wear them!

And I also purchased a new (used) car!!! Finally! I've been wanting to purchase one for months, but honestly I had a really hard time deciding what to get. They are all really great and there are so many options out there that it was a tough decision..

I ended up getting a 328i coupe with all the options I wanted! I absolutely love it! I am also very happy that I purchased a coupe- now I don't have to drive anyone in the backseat.. ha!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Good morning my lovely readers! I'm linking up with Jamie for my 2nd WILW. Very exciting I know! So today I'm loving quite a few things.

1.  First off is my new MK gold watch!

So versatile and I love stacking it with my white bow bracelet!

2. Cha Cha Chipotle Lemonasie

This stuff is ah-mazing!! I found it at whole foods. I've been putting it on my sandwiches and it adds just the right amount of spice. During the summer I would dip grilled veggies in it, so yummy!!

3. I'm loving all the golf we've been playing lately!

Please excuse my crap-tastic swing! I've even played with the JL ladies! So fun! 

4. J. Crew

Well everyone knows I love j.crew but this past week I achieved awesome status or something, because I got a Perrier when I walked in and the most delish cupcake when I left! I mean they already knew my name but it was so sweet of the SA!! (I'll share my other goodies soon!)

My Last Summer Getaway!

I spent this past weekend at our house boat on Lake Shasta. The weather was absolutely perfect and it was so nice to get away and relax on the lake!

Weekend Recap

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I spent most of my time lounging around the house which was much-needed! (although I did go to sushi on friday and brunch on sunday with a few of my friends). Bf was out of town so I did a little re-decorating..

Reorganized my jewelry area

I recently purchased the spinning jewelry holder thing at Marshalls (while searching for lilly), which is amazing! and the perfect addition to the area! I'm keeping my nicer costume jewelry in it and all my nice stuff (pearls, diamonds, etc) will stay in the jewelry box. I also love hanging my headbands up.. so much easier to find! How do you display your jewelry??

PS. Did anyone else watch all the finales on HBO last night? What did you all think? I thought entourage finale was a bit cheesy.. but I am glad everything worked out for everyone! True blood was good, but I can't believe they killed off so many people... and curb was funny but I thought there have been funnier endings this past season. I am super sad that all my shows have ended though.. I really don't know what I'm going to watch now!

Summer Bucket List Update

Since labor day has passed and summer is unofficially over; I wanted to recap on what I've accomplished from my summer bucket list.

• Go to Maui on Vacation: Had an absolute blast! Came back broke & tan!
• Have a BBQ at our house: Almost everyday until our Condo association banned them from patios! WTH!
• Play golf a few times a week: bf has literally played everyday since the bar ended! and almost every day in Maui!
• Happy hour with besties: every Thursday! 
• Read a book: read 'the help' and started on 'game of thrones'
• Float down the river
• Go to a summer concert: going to one tomorrow evening!!
• Go to the houseboat on Lake Shasta: trip planned Sept. 16-19! (before summer is officially over!)
• Relax by the pool: Lessons learned- wine & skinny girl margaritas don't go well together all day in the sun!

I actually got a lot more accomplished than I thought I would and had a wonderful summer! Unfortunately, I didn't float down the river which has always been a regular occurrence during my college summers. Oh well- there's always next year!
